How you are paid on the Platform. Version 1.0 — effective 21 September 2026; consolidates payout practice in place since the platform launch on 1 September 2025.

1. Two kinds of reward — this is important

  • USDC — payment for your work. When a customer buys data you contributed and it is approved, you are paid in USDC. This is compensation for accepted data — a normal commercial payment.

  • SLC — a separate token. SLC is a crypto-asset issued by the Blocksound Foundation / Blocksound TokenCo (BVI) Ltd. You can receive SLC only through the airdrop, the monthly “Deep-In Luck” raffle, or by optionally converting USDC to SLC. SLC is not payment for work and is governed by Blocksound’s own terms.

They are independent. Being ineligible for SLC (for example because of your country) does not remove your right to be paid in USDC for data you contributed, subject to the sanctions/AML checks below. And receiving USDC does not entitle you to SLC.

2. USDC payment for work — how it works

  • Payment is conditional on: passing quality checks; a customer approving and purchasing the data; correct technical submission; and compliance with the Participation Terms.

  • You provide a valid destination wallet. You are solely responsible for wallet accuracy; we are not liable for funds lost to wrong addresses or unsupported networks.

  • Minimum withdrawal and a network/processing fee may apply, shown before you confirm. Withdrawal requests cannot be canceled and may take up to one week.

  • Referral rewards are paid in USDC on the same conditions.

3. USDC payment — who can be paid (country & compliance)

USDC payment is available broadly, but is gated by law, not by the SLC airdrop list:

  • Sanctions/AML: before any payout we run identity (KYC), sanctions and destination-wallet screening. We do not pay to persons or comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions (e.g. Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, and the sanctioned regions of Ukraine), or to anyone on a sanctions list.

  • Local legality: we do not pay where receiving USDC/crypto is unlawful in your country.

  • Tax: you are solely responsible for reporting and paying any tax on payments. We may report or withhold where legally required — for example US information reporting (such as IRS Form 1099) for US contributors above applicable thresholds, and EU crypto-asset tax reporting under DAC8.

  • Monitoring & reporting: we operate an anti-money-laundering and sanctions programme. We may monitor transactions, request further information, and delay, freeze or reverse payments, and file reports with authorities where required; we apply Travel-Rule information requirements to transfers where applicable.

4. SLC token — airdrop, raffle, staking, conversion

Provided by Blocksound, under Blocksound’s terms. SLC is experimental and volatile; its value can fall and may be lost in full. SLC is not an investment product and carries no promise of profit.

  • Eligibility by country (3-tier list). SLC eligibility follows the Blocksound “airdrop” country list: Accepted (eligible), Accepted-but-Restricted (only where the applicable conditions are met), and Prohibited (not available). SLC is not available to residents of the United States and other restricted territories.

  • KYC before SLC prizes. Successful KYC is required before SLC raffle prizes are distributed.

  • Convert USDC → SLC (optional). You may choose to convert. This is a crypto-asset exchange offered through Blocksound’s regulated service; it is optional, only available where SLC is permitted, and shown with a volatility risk warning and your explicit confirmation. The earning-boost tied to holding SLC is paid in in-app Coins, not in money or additional USDC/SLC.

  • Staking and the raffle have their own Blocksound terms.

5. No guarantee

Rewards are contingent, irregular and not guaranteed; they depend on customer demand and compliance. We may modify, delay, reduce, suspend or cancel rewards, and may withhold, reverse or freeze payments to comply with AML, sanctions, tax or other law.

6. Governing law

USDC payment terms are governed by Delaware law (see the Participation Terms, including the EU/UK consumer carve-out). SLC (airdrop, raffle, staking, conversion) is governed by Blocksound’s terms (British Virgin Islands).
